Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Brazil Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications in Brazil exhibited varying performance trends on a unified platform. According to Sensor Tower, these insights reveal significant fluctuations in weekly downloads and active users across the leading apps.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 173K in early October and peaking at around 299K by the end of December. The weekly active users for Waze also showed a consistent rise, reaching a high of about 26.7M in mid-December.

Google Maps Go experienced a steady growth in downloads, with numbers rising from 132K in early October to a peak of 204K in mid-December, followed by a decrease towards the end of the year. Active users consistently hovered around the 89M to 94M range, showing a slight increase over the quarter.

Google Earth maintained a stable trajectory in downloads, with figures fluctuating between 41K and 59K. The active user base for Google Earth showed some variability, starting at around 1.3M and ending the quarter at approximately 1.4M.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector demonstrated impressive revenue growth, starting at $18K in early October and peaking at $36K by the end of December. Downloads were more volatile, with a significant peak at 89K mid-quarter. Active users steadily increased, reaching nearly 488K by the end of the quarter.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer showed varied download figures, starting at 34K and dropping to 9K by the end of December. Meanwhile, active users began at 47K, peaking at 57K in late November, before declining towards the quarter's close.
